Blaze announces Brice as Club Captain for 2025 Season

South Coast Blaze is excited to announce that Kristina Brice will be stepping into the role of Club Captain for the 2025 season. Brice has been a integral part of the Blaze franchise, representing the Opens team since its inception and stepping into the role of Vice Captain in 2024.
And it’s clear Brice is ready to take Blaze to new heights.
“This season, we’re not just continuing the legacy of Blaze—we’re building on it,” said Brice.
Brice will be leading the Club alongside Opens co-vice captains Olivia Coleman and Mia Evans. As well as 23&U Captain Tahlia Robertson and co-vice captains Unique Pritchard and Olivia Simone.

“At Blaze, leadership is more than just guiding a team on the court. It’s about fostering an environment where people feel safe to grow, challenge themselves, and push beyond their limits.” Brice continued.
2025 is set to be a huge season of netball for the club with the inaugural Trail Blazers pathways squad joining the franchise alongside the existing 23s & Opens sides.
“One of my biggest goals as club captain is to ensure that Blaze is not just a team you play for, but a place where you truly belong.”
As the 2025 season quickly approaches, South Coast Blaze will take to the court for the first time this weekend at the HeartKids Cup preseason tournament. Blaze encourages those who to support HeartKids in making a donation through the link provided: HeartKids Cup – South Coast Blaze.
The team is looking forward to an exciting season with Brice leading the way, and the future of South Coast Blaze has never looked brighter. With Brice’s leadership and vision, the club is set to continue its growth while creating a strong sense of community for everyone involved.
