Blaze Home Game to Celebrate First Nations Round – Saturday 12 July 2025

Blaze is proud to host a special night of netball and community celebration on Saturday 12 July at Illawarra Sports Stadium, Berkeley in recognition of the Netball NSW First Nations Round.

The evening will feature two major matches in which South Coast Blaze Opens and 23Us will take on the ERNA Hawks as well as wide range of entertainment for spectators of all ages. With something for everyone, the event aims to bring the wider Illawarra and South Coast netball community together in celebration of sport, culture and connection and showcase some of the best netball in the state on our home soil.

Game Schedule

5:00pm – Trailblazers Curtain Raiser (Pathways Exhibition Game)
6:30pm – Blaze 23s Match
8:15pm – Blaze OPENS Match

Entertainment and Activities

Attendees can expect a vibrant atmosphere with a range of pre-game and in-game activities, including:

Music from a live DJ
Face painting
Sausage sizzle
Blaze merchandise stall
IMB Bank Shooting Challenge (with prizes)
Dance-Off competition
Poster competition encouraging fans to show support for Blaze or their favourite players

Prizes and giveaways will be awarded throughout the night to participants in the Dance-Off and Poster Competition.
