Welcome to Blaze: Lottie Robinson joins South Coast Blaze
22 July 2026
South Coast Blaze is excited to welcome English defender Charlotte “Lottie” Robinson to the club for the remainder of the 2026 NSW Premier League season.
Lottie arrives with an impressive netball résumé, bringing elite experience from England and a passion for continually challenging herself on the court.
Her sporting journey didn’t begin with netball. Having originally played rugby and competed in athletics, Lottie developed the athleticism and physicality that would become the foundation of her game. She first picked up a netball at 13 while at school before joining her local club with friends, quickly progressing through England’s county, regional and regional performance pathways.
Her talent soon earned her a place within the London Mavericks pathway, where she continued her development through the age groups before representing England Universities. Alongside playing first team university netball, Lottie also served as president of her university club, demonstrating leadership both on and off the court.
At senior level, Lottie has competed in Premier League 1 with Hucclecote Netball Club, trained as a Netball Super League Training Partner with Severn Stars, and most recently was vice-captain of Team Bath’s NXTGEN squad, helping the team claim a silver medal.
Now experiencing Australian netball for the first time, Lottie says she has been impressed by the standard of the NSW Premier League.
“It’s such a professionally run league with a fantastic atmosphere at Netball Central. The standard across all the teams is excellent and it’s been great to test myself against such high-calibre players.”
Joining South Coast Blaze has also exceeded her expectations.
“Everyone has been so welcoming, friendly and kind. I felt like I fitted straight in. The intensity at training is fantastic because everyone wants to work hard and improve. The coaching and support staff have been amazing too. It’s been really interesting learning Australian strategies while also sharing ideas from England—we can all learn from each other.”
And there’s one familiar touch that already makes her feel at home.
“It’s nice to still be wearing red and black—those were my club colours back in England too!”
Looking ahead, Lottie is eager to make the most of every opportunity with Blaze.
“I want to become the best player I can be by challenging myself with a different style of netball and stepping outside my comfort zone. I’m excited to build relationships with my teammates and coaches, continue getting stronger, faster and more powerful, and most importantly, keep enjoying my netball.”
South Coast Blaze is thrilled to have Lottie as part of the Blaze family and looks forward to seeing her make her mark both on and off the court.
Welcome to the South Coast, Lottie! 🔥
