Why you love being part of the South Coast Blaze
Coming from a regional area, I am so excited to be a part of the pathway for netball athletes to the elite level. Equalising opportunities typically only found in the metropolitan setting.
Your advice for younger athletes who would like to play for the Blaze / representative netball one day?
Work hard, nail the basics and do it because you love the game. Doubt killed more dreams than failure ever could!
Fun Facts
What do you enjoy doing when not coaching netball?
When I’m not coaching netball I’m usually spending time with friends, grabbing coffee or checking out a new beach or walking track along our beautiful coastline.
Your favourite sporting hero and why
I absolutely love Briony Akle (Coach of the NSW Swifts). I have loved watching her blossom as an elite coach and respect the values and culture she has created amongst her playing and working group.
