Welcome to southcoastblaze

I have been playing netball since I was 4 years old and love the sport in every way. Growing up on the South Coast in Jervis Bay, I played for Shoalhaven Netball Association and the Illawarra Academy of Sport (IAS), before moving to Hong Kong, where I was fortunate to play in the National U21s team at two Asian Youth Championships. After returning back to Australia for university, I played for Liverpool City Netball Association in the former NSW State League competition for a few years and since then I have been playing mixed netball at the University of Sydney with some very talented NSW Men’s players.

So how did I get involved in South Coast Blaze? In short, it was my mum. As the president of Shoalhaven Netball Association and a founding board member, she asked me if I could help develop a marketing and communications plan for the South Coast Premier League franchise bid back in September 2019. As a marketer with 10 years experience and a former Shoalhaven and IAS player, I jumped at the opportunity to get involved as I never had an elite pathway and had to play for a Sydney team in State League.
