High Performance Manager and TIP Head Coach

Maria is an experienced and passionate netball coach, with a successful track record across a range of netball programs – including district, state and national level teams. She brings an extensive background to the High Performance Manager and TIP Head Coach roles at #OurBlaze.

History

• Coach in the New Zealand National Bank Cup – three years
• Foundation Head Coach of the Hunter Jaegers for two seasons of the Commonwealth Bank Trophy
• Assistant Coach with the Australian Institute of Sport Netball Program for three years, travelling nationally and internationally with the Australian U21/AIS Squad.
• NSW State teams coach, including U17, U19, U21 and Opens – successfully winning twelve National Titles
• Mentor to regional coaches through the Academy structure 
• Selector for both Netball NSW and Netball Australia Underage Squads

Maria is a familiar face in the region as she was Head Coach for the IAS Netball program for five years and has recently been the Opens Head Coach with Sutherland Stingrays – successfully winning the inaugural Opens Premier League competition in 2016 with local legends Leah Price (nee Shoard) and Melissa Tallent as Co-Captains.
