Shimano South Coast Blaze Indigenous emerging talent Scholarship

Shimano South Coast Blaze Indigenous emerging talent Scholarship

We are thrilled to announce that #OurBlaze are partnering with Shimano on the inaugural Shimano South Coast Blaze Indigenous Emerging Talent Scholarship program.

Each year, one Indigenous athlete from the South Coast Blaze program (Player, Training Partners or TIP athlete) or a representative level player from an #OurBlaze Partner Association, will be identified to receive a $500 scholarship to assist with the costs of training as an elite athlete.

To be eligible, athletes must meet the criteria listed below and tell us in 50 words or less how this scholarship would assist in your netball journey.

This is a wonderful opportunity, and we thank @shimano.fish for their commitment to improving opportunities for young Indigenous Athletes in our Programs.

The $500 Annual Scholarship will be awarded to an indigenous emerging talent in the South Coast Blaze program (Players, Training Partners, Talent Identification Program) or in representative level for a South Coast Blaze Partner Association (IDNA, CDNA, SDNA, SHNA or ENA).
